Lynn's first color pic, and my first pic done with Corel PainterX... I must say I'm quite impressed with the selection of brushes and tools available with that program.. I look forward to using it more in the future :D

Yeah, I think I see what you mean.. it's near where her leg is raised where my lines got a little illegible... at least I think that's it lol.

Thanks for the critique! :)

You're very welcome.

-cough- If you put a stack of detail on her clothes, I assure you, anatomical mistakes will not be seen. 8D

Haha, point indeed taken. I've been slacking a bit on cleaning up my linework.. that would probably help matters too.

Well it would, but sometimes, leaving it rough works wonders. (Based on personal experience)

I don't get why rough work is sometimes so popular. Meh. O___O

I've noticed that too actually.. I feel lazy leaving it rough, but then I see all these other rough works out there.. and I notice that I enjoy some rough art myself too... the games my mind keeps playing on me! D:

I really really really like making beautiful clean linework. (You know, the kind that seems that you've bleached the paper kinda "clean") Sadly, I rarely achieve that. I'm messy by nature.

Then I take a peek at the front page of dA, and stare at this rough piece which looks SO messy and ...yet, it's there.

>.> I swear it's the popularity of the artist. Or fan-art.

I shall draw how I like, the rest of dA be damned. (no offence. > < )

Indeed. I know what you mean exactly. It takes quite a bit of effort to achieve that kind of clean, so it's hard to try to get it very often...

And yeah, DA is definitely a lot of politics and who-do-you-know I think, but perhaps most of the world is like that too... sadly :\

If you aren't happy with your own work, what is the point I say? "Draw how you want to draw" seems like the best policy for sure :) *nod nod*

-sigh- I've seen so many great artists out there...who don't get noticed simply cause they don't participate much in the site....It's really painful to see, what with the first page being clogged up by Naruto fanart (I don't hate Naruto, some fanworks are indeed awesome, I just detest the lil kiddies that come attached with it)

"Draw how you want to draw"

This is the best policy ever. Originality is always best. =3
